Unruly
My hair’s got a bit unruly,
Hasn’t been cut for a while,
Been left for a
good few weeks
Trying to keep the style.
Spent ages trying
to make it messy
With all sorts of
products bought.
Tweak it this way,
tweak it that -
Tried everything
and fought!
Hairspray all over
to get it to spike;
Wax applied and
moose!
Extra sticky glue
to stick it up
Swore and gave it abuse!
Used rollers
overnight
Heated ones as well!
But that looked far
from right
Nothing like a
blonde bombshell!
Tugged it, yanked
it, pulled it
Heaved it, jerked
it, this and that
Everything I’ve done to it
And it’s still lying quite
flat!
Straightening tongs
and crimpers
As well as the
latest clay;
Backcombed it to point
it upwards;
Think better just
sleep on it today.
Now look at it,
just woken up -
My hair is just a
mess!
It’s perfect now in every way
It’s how I want it more or less!
