Here to stay
See the smile in yellow sun.
Made you laugh when you were young!
Over time they become far flung
Your TV time had just begun.
There they go, all out to play.
In the flowers and hills – so happy and gay!
Thankful they are here to stay.
On BBC am glad to say.
Red, purple, yellow, green,
It’s mayhem once again on screen!
Out of their house they join up and huddle.
In their meadow they have a cuddle!
As I attach their knitted ears,
The memories all come back so clear.
The doors open on the semi sphere,
The squeals and giggles we loved to hear!
I sew the last stitch in yellow toy.
Hearing the giggles from my little boy!
And after all the years gone by-
Still laugh at the face on sun in the sky!
The scooter and the custard train ride
The havoc that noo noo turns a blind eye!
They’ll always be a chid nearby
Until the time comes to say bye bye.
As their stuffed tummies become much fatter.
We understand what really matters.
The precious time, the chitter chatter,
Their tiny feet, the pitta patter.
Thank you Teletubby land,
I’m so glad you’re so much in demand!
When Teletubbies come out to play,
They’ll delight another child today!

Full of Teletubby memories!
