Stretching a pound!

Stretching a pound!

Bargains bargains bargains galore -
From our ceiling to the floor.
Red loving clocks with loud tick-tocks
Tasty tea bags to stripy socks!
Holiday cases, purple vases,
A bright Blue flannel for our faces!
Something for our clothes to dry.
It’s good to browse and great to buy!
My cats’ now got a bed to sleep -
That nowhere else could sell so cheap!
Blue green yellow coloured towels;
Garden gnomes with gnome like troughs.
With orange knives, lilac peeler,
Chopping boards or bathroom sealer!
Nails, weighing scales, curtain rails,
Just go there if all else fails!
My dove soap, so low priced;
Vegetables all neatly sliced and diced.
Red lights and some flavoursome bites,
Ovaltine for our good nights.
The cushion covers in every hue,
Something for the dog to chew.
Handy red baskets to carry the logs
When cold and raining cats ‘n’ dogs.
The money box, all things faux -
Can’t wait to see their future stocks!
Plastic greenhouse, plastic mouse -
Take them home to show my spouse!
From seeds to beads to plastic reeds,
Birdhouse and some birdie feeds.
Purple bathroom, mauve colour tints
Toothpaste in a tasty mint.
Animal skins for my next of kin,
Pretty tins, lime green bins,
Curtain rings, Handy thick string!
But there’s one more thing...
You can have a laugh
With some of the staff!

I look around my colourful dwelling
Did I really need what you’re selling?
But On days off I Look around
While it stretches out my pound!
