No plan of action!

 No plan of action!

Just want to chill and relax,

Not sort through my returns of tax -

Or the invoices that are paid by BACS!

Want to listen to some music tracks!

Adding subtracting - not my forte,

I Am overwhelmed and not ofay!

And it really is far from okay

On this day in June, a hot sunny day.

Fractions, transactions with no plan of action!

Nor time for client interactions.

There really is no satisfaction

And needing now a good distraction!

Hungry, thirsty, needing some lunch

Not sit at PC to number crunch

It would be good to be figure free,

With no more calculation on VAT.

Receipts from May to the next May

Just feel like running miles away!

My nerves are getting tired and frayed

Want to do this on another day.

There’s so much stuff to look into -

To work out how much revenue.

While I’m glad to pay my contributions,

There must be an easier solution.

From May to May it's such a task

Many receipts consist of face masks!

All I want to do is ask -

Can't I lie outside and bask?

There’s PC ink and drinks out,

The mileage that adds up throughout!

Car parking while out and about

Same time next year, no doubt!

There’s Insurance for Liability,

A permit for loss of mobility.

I can park in zones A and B,

Is a glass of wine a possibility?

The mobile phone, the cars’ MOT

Thinking I need one for me!

The work that has been done on my motor

Where’s the time to write a bloody rota!

There’s PC printing paper galore -

The same size of A4, kept in a drawer

(An expense that cannot be ignored)

The time on the computer to be answered for!

And before I completely despair -

This type of admin I cannot bear!

No good with this, it’s just not fair!

This year, it’s delivered to my bookkeeper, Claire
