Golden sands
Our passports are up to date
The
toothpaste is packed,
Our
beach shoes still fit;
The
playing cards are stacked!
Sunscreen-a-plenty,
The
Euro's are sorted.
A
pair of extra shorts -
They
just might be sported!
Cotton
T-shirts - all colours;
Tablets
and antihistamine;
White
cropped trousers from Peacocks -
You
know the ones' I mean?
His
pants; her bras; crocks;
Emollient
cream.....for spots!
A
few pairs of ankle length socks.
(Squeeze
in some never worn frocks)
Driving
licence, some ID;
Some
towels to laze;
A
Black swimming costume
That's
seen better days!
Chargers,
hangers, compatible plugs,
Flannels,
soap, something to kill bugs!
Hairdryer,
moose, gels and glue
The
kitchen sink and other hair goo.
Phone,
IPod, books and mags,
Documentation,
carrier bags!
Are
we flying soon to golden sands?
All
depends on that volcano in Iceland!
