Power without wisdom
It felt a little safer
When I woke up today.
The atmosphere smelt fresher
And a lot of us have prayed.
Already the world is richer
After some unstable years,
Wealthy in acceptance
After crying many tears.
Our earth’s become so dangerous
And it was so clear to see,
Looked after your unstable friends
You looked after your dynasty.
You thought you owned the universe
All you’ve caused are disruptions
Our shores and land have suffered
At the hands of your corruption.
Narcissistic, self centred
Would describe you at best.
No intelligence, nor clever.
You were so obsessed.
Your inhumane actions
All your deals and trades
People that have lost their lives
For the sake of your crusade.
You had no intention
To help your own mankind,
Turning one against the other;
There’s so much to unwind.
The world will never be perfect
But things have been made worse
We’re better off without you,
Seems like a lifted curse.
After years of negatively
Woke up with a clearer mind
Most people want to live in peace
So glad you’ve been declined.
Almost overnight I sense,
And breathe a sigh of relief
The world seems a better place
Without a school bully and thief.
