Cyber Note

Cyber Note

Now do those e mails come face to face
Or Pass each other in cyber space?
Do they stop to exchange niceties?
Perhaps pause for a cuddle and a kiss!
Maybe they just have a tete a tete
Within the journey along the way,
A chat - a good old one-to-one
Or indulge in some good old fashioned fun.
Do the letters have time for a fling?
A point in time for anything?
Some heavy petting between the lines
As a mail correspondence climax entwines.
Think it’s almost anyone’s guess
That they would break for cyber sex?
Would a French letter be used instead-
Before it reaches us to be read?
I muse before they reach our address,
That they’ve had time to redress;
But did they catch a P.C. virus
Before they even got through to us.....

Moving forward

Moving forward

My hands are so sore and need holding;
My lips are so chapped they need kissing;
The skin on my feet cracked and bleeding and
Looking for something that’s missing.

The skin on my body is thinner;
I’ve been frosty without any warning.
My psyche’s been cold - it needs heating up
But my spirit is slowly warming.

Worry lines on my face are much deeper;
The love in my heart needs a flame,
But there’s a flicker that’s getting closer
For now which is hard to explain.

My whole body is full of lack lustre
Like a song, my life’s been like a reprise.
Now there’s a prompt to start moving forward;
And In the morning a brighter sunrise!

I’ve spent too much time on the outside
Not looking close to what really matters
But the door is now almost ajar -
The windows are not quite so shattered.

My head is so full of questions
But there won’t be an answer to all.
For now I’ll just look to the inside
And wait until something might call.

Outwit!

Outwit

I’ve gone out and bought a mouse
Brought it back to the house.
Didn’t dare make a peep
To see if it made my P.C. sleep;
In control panel dug very deep
To see if any overlooked blips
Ensured that it would have a kip!
Talked to it nicely hedged my bets,
Crossed my fingers - hoped for the best!
But did it rest?
Did it ever!
It thinks it must be very clever!
I think the machine has outwit
But must be feeling so unfit;
With all this sleep deprivation
I really do give up on this occasion!
